He started playing drums in the percussions school´s of Mission Viejo.
At the time he was 30, he started playing in Guns `n`Roses, with another stars of rock like Axel Rose and Slash. At their first album, they beat a record from 400,000 of downloads of songs in the internet.
In 1997 he was fired from Guns by Axel Rose, in a discussion. Then Slash decided that the band was not the same... So he resigns of the band and 2 years after, he starts a new band with Matt, called Velvet Revolver.
Today he still plays with Velvet Revolver, and that´s what makes he so amazing.... He´s 62 years old, and still the best drummer ever!
